Essex County's Economic Development Foundation for the Future
In this competitive world a community cannot grow without committing resources, tools, and people to economic development. To this end the newly seated Economic Development Authority (EDA) laid out a road map to sustain the economic development momentum experienced in 2020 in the "Essex County's Economic Development Foundation for the Future" resolution.
The "Foundation for the Future" resolution calls for developing a dedicated funding source for economic development, hiring professional staff, and developing business incentives.
